As Nove Dimensões/The Nine Dimensions
Segundo estudos e pesquisas o nosso universo possui onze dimensões: três espaciais (comprimento, altura e largura), uma temporal (tempo) e sete dimensões recurvadas (sendo a estas atribuídas a outras propriedades como massa e carga elétrica). Quando paramos para pensar nisso, em algo como o universo, é quase impossível imaginar a extensão e que, se tiver mesmo onze dimensões, não é suficiente.
As quatro primeiras dimensões conhecemos muito bem, temos a capacidade de percebê-las, comprimento, altura, largura e tempo. A partir da quinta dimensão nossa compreensão não alcança não as percebemos. Mas se pararmos para analisar nossa vida, as coisas que acontecem conosco e com as pessoas ao nosso redor podemos perceber a existência de outros universos. Nada acontece por acaso, o efeito borboleta, onde, se tivéssemos feito escolhas diferentes, teríamos outras experiências e afetaríamos a vida das pessoas ao nosso redor.
São infinitas as possibilidades, e o mais incrível disso é que podemos deixar nossa imaginação voar muito longe e com isso vivermos experiências maravilhosas.
A série As Nove Dimensões é uma viagem através de nove dimensões do universo. É composta por nove quadros cada uma representando uma dimensão. Todas as texturas dessas obras foram feitas acrescentado pó de café na massa acrílica que, após secagem, craquela a textura e se transforma em formas magníficas.
According to studies and researches, our universe has eleven dimensions: three spatial (length, height, and width), one temporal (time), and seven curved dimensions (being attributed to them another property as mass and electric charge). When we stop thinking about this, in something like the universe, it is almost impossible to imagine the extension, and that if really has eleven dimensions, it is not enough.
The first four dimensions, we know very well, we have the ability to realize them, length, height, width, and time. From the fifth dimension our comprehension does not achieve, we do not realize them. But if we stop analyzing our life, the things that happen with us, and with the people all around us, we can realize the existence of other universes. Nothing happens by chance, the butterfly effect, where, if we would have done different choices, we would have other experiences and we would affect the life of the people all around us.
The possibilities are endless, and the most incredible of this is that we can let our imagination fly far away, and with that live in wonderful experiences.
The “The Nine Dimensions” series is a trip through the nine dimensions of the universe. It is composed of nine paintings, each one depicting one dimension. All the textures of these artworks were made adding coffee powder in the acrylic putty that, after drying, crackle the texture and turns in magnificent shapes.
Linha/Line
Linha é a primeira dimensão do universo. A linha é unidimensional. A obra de arte “Linha“ está representada pela cor azul.
A primeira dimensão é um lugar conhecido, não tem grandes desafios e não necessita de grandes esforços para entendê-lo. Sem desafios, não tem emoção e o coração não bate mais forte a cada conquista. Mas, mesmo assim é preciso conhecê-lo e entendê-lo para enfrentar os desafios que estão por vir.
Uma linha nos leva de um ponto a outro sem desvios.
Na obra de arte “Linha” a textura possui muitas fendas representando as linhas.
Foram utilizadas quatro cores na composição da pintura com predominância do azul. A cor azul traz uma sensação de tranquilidade e serenidade.
The line is the first dimension of the universe. The line is one-dimensional. The artwork “Line” is represented by the blue color.
The first dimension is a known place, it does not have big challenges and does not need big efforts to understand it. Without challenges, does not have emotion and the heart does not beat stronger at each conquest. But anyway, it is needed to know it and to understand it to face the challenges that are to come.
The line takes us from one point to another without deviation.
In the artwork “Line” the texture has a lot of cracks, representing the lines.
Were used four colors in the composition of the painting, with the predominance of the blue color. The blue color brings a sensation of tranquility and serenity.
O cubo é a terceira dimensão do universo. Um cubo possui três dimensões: largura, comprimento e profundidade. Nesta dimensão temos a percepção de volume, de que existe muito mais coisas acontecendo ao nosso redor que simplesmente uma linha ou um retângulo.
Agora temos a noção de espaço e, isso pode ser assustador ou excitante. Os desafios, é óbvio, são maiores porque temos consciência das infinitas possibilidade que temos para chegar onde queremos.
Na obra de arte “Cubo” a textura tem diferentes e inusitadas formas. Para pintura, foram utilizadas quatro cores, sendo predominante o laranja, dando à obra vivacidade e excitação ante os desafios da terceira dimensão.
The cube is the third dimension of the universe. A cube has three dimensions: width, length, and depth. In this dimension, we have the perception of the volume that exists many more things happening all around us that simply a line or a rectangle.
Now we have the notion of space, and this can be scary or exciting. The challenges are, obviously, bigger because we have consciousness of the infinite possibilities that we have to get where we want.
The artwork “Cube” the texture has different and unusual shapes. In the painting were used four colors, being the orange the predominant color, giving to the artwork vivacity and excitement in the face of challenges of the third dimension.

Tempo/Time
O tempo é a quarta dimensão do universo. A quarta dimensão é o deslocamento de todos os pontos da terceira dimensão através do tempo. A quarta dimensão também é uma dimensão conhecida, mas muitas vezes difícil de entender.
Enxergamos o tempo linearmente partindo de um passado que não volta mais para um futuro que por mais que tentamos planejar será sempre incerto. Mas o tempo é muito mais que isso. Há muitos mistérios através do tempo do que podemos imaginar. Será muito mais difícil ultrapassar os desafios do tempo, pois este é cheio de truques.
A obra de arte “Tempo” é representada pela cor vermelha, uma cor forte que mostra o poder do tempo.
Na obra de arte “Tempo” a textura possui formas marcantes e fortes como o tempo. A cor predominante é o vermelho, mas foram utilizadas mais três cores na pintura. Com muitos relevos, essa obra causa incerteza, mas ao mesmo tempo podemos sentir o poder do tempo.
The time is the fourth dimension of the universe. The fourth dimension is the displacement of all points of the third dimension through the time. The fourth dimension is also a known place, but many times difficult to understand.
We see the time linearly, leaving from a past that does not come back anymore to a future that, no matter how hard we try to plan it will always be uncertain. But the time is much more than that. There are many more mysteries through time that we can imagine. It will be much more difficult to overcome the time challenges because it is full of tricks.

Mundos Possíveis é a quinta dimensão do universo. A quinta dimensão existe em nossa imaginação. A obra de arte “Mundos Possíveis” representa todas as possibilidades em nossa vida, que são infinitas. Para esses mundos possíveis acontecerem depende de nossas escolhas.
A obra de arte “Mundos Possíveis” está representada pela cor verde e com seus altos e baixos nos mostra o que acontece com as nossas vidas, como em uma montanha russa, em um momento estamos no alto e em outro estamos embaixo, pegamos uma curva perigosa onde toda nossa vida toma um rumo diferente e quando a vida vira de cabeça para baixo. Mas tudo isso sem sair dos trilhos, sem perder o domínio sobre ela, pois sempre temos o poder da escolha.
Na obra “Mundos Possíveis” a textura possui muitos relevos para representar os altos e baixos da vida. Na pintura foram utilizadas quatro cores sendo predominante o verde, que significa esperança, ou seja, tudo vai dar certo.
Possible worlds is the fifth dimension of the universe. The fifth dimension exists in our imagination. The artwork “Possible Worlds” represents all the possibilities within our life that are infinite. To these possible worlds happen depends on our choices.
The artwork “Possible Worlds” is represented by the green color and with its ups and downs shows us what happen in our lives like in a roller coaster, in a moment we are up, in another, we are down, we take a dangerous curve where all our life takes a different turn and when the life turn upside down. But all of this without leaving the rails, without losing the mastery of life, because we always have the power of choice.
In the artwork “Possible Worlds” the texture has many reliefs to represent the ups and downs of life. In the painting were used four colors, being predominant, the green color, that means hope, that is, everything is going to be ok.

Parallel Worlds
Universos Paralelos é a sexta dimensão do universo. Na sexta dimensão estão todos os universos possíveis. Os universos paralelos, digamos que são as diferentes vidas que poderíamos vivenciar se tivéssemos feito diferentes escolhas em nossas vidas. A imaginação pode viajar por quilômetros diante de tantas possibilidades e, não só em nossas próprias vidas, mas, nossas ações também afetariam a vida das outras pessoas, ou seja, poderíamos viver em um mundo completamente diferente agora. Se pudéssemos viajar através desses universos paralelos, será que encontraríamos outros de nós mesmos vivendo vidas diferentes?
A obra “Universos Paralelos” representa os vários universos que poderíamos viver.
Na obra de arte “Universos Paralelos” a textura possui muitos caminhos que podemos seguir e viver outras experiências. Foram utilizadas apenas três cores e a pintura foi realizada em camadas, dando destaque aos caminhos que podem ou não ser percorridos.
Parallel universes is the sixth dimension of the universe. In the sixth dimension are all the possible universes. The parallel universes let’s say that are the different lives that we could experience if we would have made different choices in our lives. The imagination can travel by kilometers, before so many possibilities, and not only in our own lives but our actions affect also the life of other people, that is, now we could live in a world completely different. If we could travel through these parallel universes, would we find other versions of ourselves living different lives?

In the artwork “Parallel Universes” the texture has lots of paths that we can follow and live other experiences. In this artwork were used only three colors. The painting was realized in layers, giving the spotlight to the paths that we can or not travel.
Tudo é diferente é a sétima dimensão do universo. A sétima dimensão é também todos os universos possíveis, mas o leque de possibilidades aumenta se as condições, como a lei da física forem diferentes, como a velocidade da luz por exemplo.
A quantidade de universos que podem existir, com as condições que conhecemos e com as que não conhecemos ainda, está muito além da nossa imaginação. Imagine algo como um mundo de cabeça para baixo?

Na obra de arte “Tudo é Diferente” a textura é bem diferente, com muitos relevos e caminhos e foram utilizadas três cores na pintura. Os contrastes entre claro e escuro estão bem marcados, representando universos possíveis onde tudo é diferente.
Everything is different is the seventh dimension of the universe. The seventh dimension is also all the possible universes, but the range of possibilities increases if the conditions, like the laws of the physics, were different, like the speed of light, for example.
The quantity of universes that can exist, with the conditions that we know and with the ones we do not know yet, it is far beyond our imagination. Can you imagine something like everything upside down?
The artwork “Everything is Different” represents all these imaginable and unimaginable universes.
In the artwork “Everything is Different” the texture is different, with many reliefs and paths and was used three colors in the painting. The contrast between light and dark is well marked, representing possible universes where everything is different.

Planos Infinitos/
Infinite Planes
Planos infinitos é a oitava dimensão do universo. Na oitava dimensão estão todos os universos possíveis e impossíveis. As possibilidades são infinitas e começamos a questionar: Qual é nossa realidade? Qual é nosso universo? Tudo isso que estamos vivendo é realidade?
Na obra “Planos Infinitos” é como se tivéssemos infinitos nascimentos, infinitas versões de nós mesmos, infinitas vidas, infinitas condições, infinitos mundos, ou seja, tudo, absolutamente tudo, é possível e isso está completamente fora da nossa imaginação.
Na obra de arte “Planos Infinitos” a textura possui muitos relevos e a pintura foi feita pintando o fundo de preto e depois foram feitas camadas utilizando mais quatro cores, preservando nuances da cor preta abaixo, dando a impressão realmente de vários planos.
Infinite planes is the eighth dimension of the universe. In the eighth dimension are all the possible and impossible universes. The possibilities are endless, and we start questioning: Which is our reality? Which is our universe? All of this that we are living, is reality?
In the artwork “Infinite Planes” is like we had infinite births, infinite versions of ourselves, infinite lives, infinite conditions, infinite worlds, that is, everything, absolutely everything is possible, and this is completely out of our imagination.
In the artwork “Infinite Planes” the texture has lots of reliefs and the painting was made painting the background with black color and after were made layers using more four colors, preserving the nuances of the black underneath, giving the impression of various planes.
